Empty jar, open rim. Hand 1 goes to the first top-up of 0.002 ETH.

Then it is simple, if not polite: top up every round or drop, and whatever you put in stays in the jar for whoever is still topping up.

      Notes on the drawing

      1. Get in. Round 1 is the only way in: top up 0.002 ETH (holders of 10,000 $TOPJAR, up to 20 hands a jar).
      2. Stay in. Every round after that, top up 0.002 again before the 12-minute clock runs out. One top-up a round each.
      3. Drop. When a round closes, everyone who did not top up drops. Everything they put in stays in the jar.
      4. Take. One hand left takes the jar plus its own top-ups back. No cut. Rounds close on their own, and anyone may close one once its clock is out.
      5. Ties and the end. Everyone left misses the same round: each gets their own top-ups back and the jar splits evenly. Round 40 is the last; whoever still stands does the same.

The last one still topping up takes the 0.018 left behind plus its own four top-ups, 0.008: 0.026 ETH, every top-up anybody made. The five who dropped helped, which was nice of them.
